Bangladesh–United States 9th Land Forces Talks (LFT) 2026 Conclude Successfully in Dhaka
Reading Time: 2 minutes The Bangladesh–United States 9th Land Forces Talks (LFT) 2026 concluded successfully on 27 January at the conference room of the Army Sports Control Board, Dhaka Cantonment, following a two-day meeting held from 26–27 January 2026. The talks were conducted as a follow-up to the 9th Land Forces Talks previously held in the United States from 8–10 September 2025. Senior representatives from the Bangladesh Army and the United States Army participated in the discussions, reaffirming their shared commitment to strengthening bilateral military cooperation. The Bangladesh delegation comprised 22 members and was led by Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Badrul Haque, SPP, AFWC, PSC, Engineers, from the Military Training Directorate of the Bangladesh Army. The four-member United States delegation was led by Major Michael Jacob Oster of the Security Cooperation Division, United States Army Pacific (USARPAC).
