Bangladesh Army Moves to Procure UH-60L Black Hawk Helicopters from the United States

Official documents issued by the Directorate General Defence Purchase (DGDP) under the Ministry of Defence confirm that a tender has been floated for the acquisition of four medium, twin-engine helicopters of the Black Hawk UH-60L series, marking a notable development in Bangladesh Army Aviation’s future force structure. According to the tender notice issued by DGDP, sealed bids have been invited from enlisted local and foreign manufacturers or suppliers for the supply of four refurbished UH-60L Black Hawk helicopters, categorised as medium, multi-engine platforms.
