RN-94 Armoured Ambulance

Reading Time: 2 minutes The RN-94 is a 6×6 wheeled armoured personnel carrier developed through a joint effort between Turkish and Romanian manufacturers in the mid-1990s. Designed to deliver enhanced mobility, protection, and versatility, the RN-94 fulfills roles such as troop transport, command and control, and medical evacuation. The Bangladesh Army acquired nine RN-94 vehicles configured specifically as armoured ambulances. These vehicles strengthen the Army’s ability to conduct medical evacuations under armoured protection, particularly in difficult terrain and during peacekeeping operations.
