Shibli Pursues Bangladesh Army EO Programme

The engagement, which involves close co-ordination with the Bangladesh Army’s Directorate of Infantry and the School of Infantry & Tactics (SI&T) in Sylhet, comes amid broader efforts by Dhaka to modernise infantry combat capability and expand domestic optronics production capacity. The development coincides with the inauguration of a Night Vision Monocular (NVM) manufacturing facility in Gazipur by Bangladesh Machine Tools Factory in partnership with Greece-based Theon Sensors, highlighting Bangladesh’s increasingly diversified approach towards infantry modernisation and defence-industrial development. Security Clearance Documents Detail Army Engagement A Bangladesh Army document titled Security Clearance – Foreigners confirms that four Pakistani nationals associated with Shibli Electronics were granted authorisation to visit Bangladesh Army facilities in connection with the programme.
