Chinese Firm AeroSynth Limited to Establish Drone Manufacturing Plant in BEPZA Economic Zone, Chattogram

Reading Time: < 1 minute Chinese company AeroSynth Limited has announced an investment of US$3.5 million to establish a drone manufacturing facility at the BEPZA Economic Zone in Mirsharai, Chattogram, marking a new addition to Bangladesh’s emerging high-technology industrial base. According to a press release issued by the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA), the company aims to produce around 150,000 drones annually, catering to multiple sectors including recreational use, fishing, and lightweight product delivery. The project is expected to create employment opportunities for 70 people in its initial phase. The investment agreement was signed today at the BEPZA Complex in Dhaka between Md Ashraful Kabir, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA, and Hu Dandan, authorised representative of AeroSynth Limited.
