Bangladesh Navy Fleet Commander Attends PIMEC-25

Reading Time: < 1 minute Rear Admiral Mustaque Ahmed, Fleet Commander of the Bangladesh Navy (COMBAN), visited the Pakistan Navy pavilion during the Pakistan International Maritime Expo & Conference 2025 (PIMEC-25), held at the Karachi Expo Centre from 3-6 November 2025. During the visit, Rear Admiral Ahmed held discussions with Rear Admiral Ahmed Hussain, Director General Public Relations (Navy), underscoring the growing professional engagement and goodwill between the naval forces of Bangladesh and Pakistan. The Bangladesh delegation was also briefed on the capacity and capabilities of Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KS&EW), including developments related to Pakistan’s indigenous Jinnah-class frigate programme, reflecting Islamabad’s advances in naval shipbuilding and maritime defence production.
