Bangladesh Air Force Explores Advanced Turkish Air Defence Systems

Reading Time: 2 minutes Chief of Air Staff of the Bangladesh Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmud Khan, BBP, OSP, GUP, NSWC, PSC, departed Dhaka for Turkey on Wednesday, 01 October 2025, for an official visit at the invitation of the Turkish Air Force. During the visit, held from 01 to 05 October 2025, the Air Chief is scheduled to meet senior officials from the Turkish Air Force, the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB), and other high-ranking military and government representatives. Discussions will focus on areas of mutual interest, including cooperation in defence technology, training, and industrial collaboration. As part of the visit, Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmud Khan has already toured leading Turkish defence companies, including ASELSAN and Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI). At ASELSAN, he was briefed on a range of advanced air defence systems, radar technologies, and electronic warfare solutions. ASELSAN’s products, including the HİSAR family of
