Performance Validation of the Chengdu J-10CE in an Indo-Pak Conflict and its Strategic Case for Bangladesh Air Force Integration
Reading Time: 3 minutes 1. Introduction The Chengdu J-10CE represents a pivotal evolution in modern multirole fighter design, offering the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) a capable 4.5-generation platform with advanced avionics, weaponry, and electronic warfare systems. As tensions between India and Pakistan persist, a limited or escalated air conflict presents a realistic scenario for the first operational validation of the J-10CE. Beyond Pakistan, the J-10CE holds strong potential for regional adoption by other air forces, notably the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF), which seeks to modernise under Forces Goal 2030. This report analyses the J-10CE’s expected performance in an Indo-Pakistani war scenario and its strategic value for BAF adoption. 2.
