Airbus Eyes Deeper Defence and Aerospace Partnership With Bangladesh

The company, which has maintained a presence in Bangladesh’s defence environment for over a decade, is now actively seeking to expand its footprint by offering a broad suite of platforms and technologies to both the Bangladesh Army and the Bangladesh Air Force, alongside a major proposal for Biman Bangladesh Airlines. Wouter van Wersch, executive vice president (International) of Airbus, has outlined the company’s ambitions in a series of recent discussions with Bangladeshi media. He emphasized that Airbus’s engagement in Bangladesh is not new but is now evolving into a more diversified partnership.
