Introduced into Bangladesh Army service in 2018, the PF-98 significantly enhanced the army’s infantry-level anti-tank and fire-support capabilities, especially in jungle and hilly terrain where heavier anti-armour assets may not be deployable. The PF-98 is being manufactured in Bangladesh at the Bangladesh Ordnance Factories (BOF) in Chattogram. Production will commence in 2026 with an annual capacity of 200 systems.
