Eurofighter Typhoon and the Case for J-10C & F/A-18E/F for Bangladesh Air Force

Reading Time: 3 minutes The Eurofighter Typhoon is widely regarded as one of the most capable 4.5-generation fighter aircraft in service today. Its strength lies in a very modern avionics suite, a sophisticated sensor fusion capability, and exceptional agility within its optimal combat radius (~300 nautical miles). This agility, combined with advanced beyond visual range (BVR) weapon systems, positions the Typhoon as a formidable multirole fighter against older generation aircraft. However, the claim that the Typhoon is “almost as good as an F-22” is not supportable. The F-22 remains in a separate class: stealth, supercruise capability, and superior situational awareness through integrated sensor networks give it clear advantages.
