Bangladesh Army delegation shows interest in Turkish attack helicopters and munitions at FEINDEF 2025

Reading Time: 2 minutes A Bangladesh Army delegation attending the FEINDEF 2025 International Defence and Security Exhibition (La Feria Internacional de Defensa y Seguridad de España – FEINDEF), held from 14 to 16 May 2025 in Madrid, visited the stalls of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) and Roketsan, expressing renewed interest in Turkish attack helicopters and precision-guided munitions, according to sources present at the event. During their visit to the TAI exhibit, delegation members discussed the T-129 ATAK attack helicopter, signalling Bangladesh’s interest in acquiring up to eight attack helicopters to expand the capabilities of the Army Aviation Group. The T-129 ATAK and the American AH-1Z Viper are currently being considered as the main contenders for the programme. At the Roketsan stall, the delegation held discussions with Turkish defence officials regarding new-generation smart munitions, long-range rockets, guided missiles, and anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs).
