Bangladesh’s Responsibility in the Face of Crisis in Northeast India

In the face of state-sanctioned violence, ethnic persecution, and the systematic erosion of civil liberties in these regions, it is imperative that Bangladesh take up a principled and proactive role. This must include observing the situation closely, offering humanitarian assistance to innocent civilians, and providing protection to freedom fighters and democratic activists who are under threat from centralised authoritarian repression.
