MKS-18 Auxiliary Corner Gun Mount

Reading Time: 3 minutes The MKS-18 is an auxiliary corner-firing apparatus designed to allow an operator to observe and engage a target from behind cover without exposing themselves to direct line of sight. Originating from Turkish manufacturer TG Defence, the system is intended for close-quarters and urban operations where tactical requirements evolve rapidly. When fitted with a 9×19 mm pistol or a similarly sized light small arm, the MKS-18 provides a protected firing mount combined with integrated electro-optical sights and both visible and infrared illumination and aiming aids, enabling safer conduct of day and night operations in residential, building, shelter and cave environments. Functionally, the MKS-18 increases operator survivability by permitting reconnaissance, surveillance and engagement from a concealed position. The muzzle and sighting assembly may be angled away from the operator so that the host weapon remains concealed while the operator searches for and engages threats. This capability is particularly
