Bangladesh Air Force gets second weather radar from US

Reading Time: < 1 minute The Bangladesh Air Force has successfully installed a second state of the art pulse doppler radar in Chittagong. Acquired from Baron Weather, the Gen 3 series Baron 350,000-watt C-Band Dual Polarisation radars will improve situation awareness for pilots on weather before they fly out in to different zones. In the past the Bangladesh Air Force relied on other government agencies prior to the acquisition of its own weather intelligence radar systems. The other Baron Weather intelligence radar is operational at the BAF Matiur Rahman Base at Jessore. BDMilitary Staff Correspondent
