Bangladesh Army to Send Troops to Azerbaijan and Türkiye for GMLRS Training

This development is part of a tri-partite defence cooperation agreement involving Bangladesh, Azerbaijan, and Türkiye, with the Turkish government overseeing the programme’s coordination and execution. Manufactured by Türkiye’s leading defence contractor Roketsan, the TRG-300 Tiger is a 300mm guided rocket system capable of striking targets up to 120 kilometres away. Both the Bangladesh and Azerbaijani armed forces operate this system, reflecting shared military modernisation goals and growing inter-operability.
